Getting Ready to Leave

Leaving is always hard. Everything has to be packed away for the long winter. Separating what to take and what to leave and finding the room to store it takes time.

The end of summer is near us, and some of our plants are looking better then ever. We are trying to enjoy this place as much as possible.

Green in Minnesota

With all the rain, it sure is green

More Space

The Economic Recovery Act has forced me to concrete the floor in the large garage. It took only two days for us to complete this project. As you can see the only use for this floor is for dancing.

Cucumber Factory

While Rennae and Brian and a little help from me, were doing our pickles. 66 qt. and 4 gal jars for this year. All our jars sealed successfully. I took time out to add four windows into our quanset.

Everything is Green

With all the rain this month, everything is green. other then the humidity, it has been very comfortable.

Children in Ilinois

From Wisconsin it was just a small jump into Illinois to see Margret and Jim. Its been many month since I have seen them, and to my surprise they looked good. Jim is working on his little house and Meg wants to unload hers so that she can get out of "Dodge".
