Trees Have Grown









Our trees and shrubs have grown and the dogs like the comfort of their home.

More Death Valley in the Spring









There is both harsh mountains and lots of green with the extreme temperature. As the sun shifts, so do the colors and shadows of the mountains. It has never looked the same twice.

If the rains are just right, Death Valley becomes a garden of flowers. To ride a motorcycle at 105 degrees heat is the best way to experience this. At over 500 ft below sea level the valley floor becomes a white dry lake bed.

Minesota Winter 2009








When its cold like winter in Minnesota, you just have to visit family. Brian, Bert and Francis (Grand Parents) are having a visit. Tracy and Rick (Rennae's sister) are at home and staying warm. A beard always helps to keep out the cold.

Only in Minnesota do you spend your winters on a frozen lake in an ice house fishing. We are hundreds of yards from shore on the middle of a snow covered lake in a little house. Its fun to play football as a way to get exercise. You watch your line in a chopped hole for a fish.

After it snows, there is always the need for a path to come and go. It took hours just to clear enough to get vehicles on the road.

Brian and Rainer took turns to get this job done.
